Children's Dental Health Services opens new location with grant support from Mayo Clinic

Children’s Dental Health Services celebrated the ribbon cutting and grand opening of its new Rochester clinic on July 10, bringing much-needed oral health services to more than 1,700 underserved children in Olmsted County. The Mayo Clinic Community Contributions Program supported this critical initiative with a $25,000 grant to help ensure that children receive the dental care they need. The clinic, which previously operated out of a smaller space in the United Way building, offers access to preventive and restorative care and helps children build healthy dental habits. The new, larger clinic may now serve even more children and families who face numerous barriers to receiving dental care, including lack of insurance, transportation and difficulty arranging childcare.
