Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato's new hospital bed tower unveiled at Business After Hours event

Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) in Mankato, Minnesota hosted a special Business After Hours event this week for Greater Mankato Growth. More than 200 community leaders attended, including chamber members and service club representatives. The event featured exclusive guided tours of the brand new hospital bed tower before it officially opens next week. Community members took advantage of this opportunity, gaining firsthand experience with the state-of-the-art facility.

MCHS in Southwest Minnesota leaders James Hebl, M.D., regional vice president, and Lisa McConnell, chief nursing officer, addressed the crowd, emphasizing the expansion’s significance to both the community and Mayo staff. The new tower boasts 121 additional beds, including dedicated sections for ICU/PCU, Medical-Surgical and a new family birthing center.
