High school, college students can apply to Mayo Clinic volunteer programs July 6-13

If you know a high school or college student who's interested in healthcare, service or exploring future career paths, let them know that applications for Mayo Clinic's Student Volunteer Programs open on July 6.

Students accepted into Session 3 will volunteer weekly beginning in September, supporting patients, visitors and staff in a variety of clinical and nonclinical areas across the Rochester campus.

"Through these programs, students have the opportunity to learn, serve and grow while working alongside Mayo Clinic staff and making a meaningful difference for patients and visitors," says Erin Pittman, director of Volunteer Services.

More than 650 high school students volunteered at Mayo Clinic in Rochester in 2025, and the College Volunteer Program welcomed its largest class ever.
